Sunday Prayer and Quotes

Published by under Dreams,Religion

Thank you Father once again for allowing me another day/chance to get this life right. I had a dream last night that I was standing at the top of a mountain and I asked out loud, “I wonder if someone could fall off of this mountain?”

Next thing I know I stepped out from in between the trees and I fell off the side of the mountain. I didn’t tumble down the side but I saw myself in the air on the side of this mountain and I way facing the sky but falling. It seemed like I was falling for such a long time but I had no fear of how I was going to land but I knew I would be okay. I didn’t feel like I was going to die. I landed in some water. It looked like a river and I was completely surrounded by it. I fought the water at first as if I was going to drown until I realized that I was floating on my back and not sinking. I was able to stand up on the water and walk to the riverbank. As I looked around I could see the mountain and it was beautiful and draped in the greenest of trees and I was still standing on this riverbank of rocks and crisp clear midnight blue water as far as my eyes could see. Not like the tropical blue or ocean blue waters. But in the mist of all of this I felt a calm and a peace over me. I wondered how I had gotten here and what did this all mean. I know that water represents life and mountains can be obstacles, but I didn’t feel like the mountain was a threat to me. During all of what was happening it was like I was watching this happen to me and experiencing it all at the same time. It was like I was still on the side of the mountain looking at myself falling and then I would be in my body feeling myself falling. I don’t know what this all represents right know but I know that it has something to do with Faith and knowing that I will be alright. So here are my quotes for this Sunday. Faith:

Faith makes things possible, not easy.  ~Author Unknown

Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.  ~J.R.R. Tolkien

Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.  ~Martin Luther King Jr.

He who has faith has… an inward reservoir of courage, hope, confidence, calmness, and assuring trust that all will come out well – even though to the world it may appear to come out most badly.  ~B.C. Forbes

As your faith is strengthened you will find that there is no longer the need to have a sense of control, that things will flow as they will, and that you will flow with them, to your great delight and benefit.  ~Emmanuel

Feed your faith and your fears will starve to death.  ~Author Unknown
